Hi, I’m Maggie.

I’m an instructional designer with a background in science education and a passion for creating learning experiences that are clear, engaging, and practical. I care about helping people build real skills they can apply, not just take in more information.

Before moving into instructional design, I worked as a secondary school teacher with a focus on chemistry and biology. I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of simplifying complex topics and making them accessible to learners with different levels of experience. I also have a background in nutrition, which sparked my interest in connecting knowledge to everyday decisions.

Much of my experience in education took place in New Zealand, where I developed a strong cross-cultural perspective. It taught me to design with flexibility, to question the status quo when needed, and to create learning experiences that reflect a range of perspectives.

As a designer, I bring curiosity, empathy, and a strong attention to detail. I am always thinking about how to design learning that supports real growth. I want people to use their understanding with confidence so they can move forward, reach their goals, and create meaningful change. Whether at the individual or organizational level, I believe well-designed learning experiences have the power to drive improvement and help teams succeed.
